On the server tonight I was getting loads of questions about What was Baldric why were only admins allowed to play there (I corrected that one staight off) and how to get Charlie.

I see the Freestyler has now applied - albeit incorrectly - http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?p=202221#post202221

and I think a few more may follow. The idea of having a Charlie-only server has certainly had an impact.

If asked, I'm just pointing people to the  rubric:

Charlie Company
Membership can be applied for once Bravo Company membership has been held for at least 3 months. Charlie Company members hold the success of the community in the highest regard and actively promote our style of play wherever and whenever possible. Charlie Company members are expected to make an ongoing and positive contribution to the community. Applications forms should be forwarded either Oldbloke or TeaLeaf and must be supported by a Proposer and two Seconders who are current members of dMw's Charlie Company. The Charlie Company member who agrees to act as your Proposer will be able to provide you with an Application Form. Such applications are then considered by the Dead Men Walking Admins and decisions are usually given within 7 days.

I'm presuming that's still the SOP?

That is the correct way unless we have someone who we want to nominate ourselves, if we do, it can be raised in the CS admin forum.
