There are only about 20 players in that list who I have seen on the server recently.

Perhaps we should cull the list somewhat?

I think I've seen most of the others around and about - and bear in mind that some may well be playing WoW.

It would be good to keep the list up-to-date and to have it displayed in the open forum (Probably under Community structure). As Whitey has said, since Baldric came online there has been a surge in interest in Charlie.

I would suggest a tally against last visit / post and whether they're actively playing any games. Then drop those from the list that don't fall under one or other category. (We can always keep a few honorary members for the old-timers).

The others I would demote back to Alpha. Should they come back online they can always be reinstated.

Once that is done I think the Bravo list could probably do with a clean as well and move the absentees to Alpha.

I also think we're going to need to bump up some more people (Alpha to Bravo and Bravo to Charlie) if we're to make Baldric work - or at least open it to Bravo too.

That way we have a constant database of up-to-date information and as it's in open forum gives a tangible goal to which to aspire.

I would be happy to offer my services to keep the list up-to-date in the forums. I'm very much aware that most of the work here falls on few shoulders and this is something I can do (given my lack of technical know- how).

I think that's a good idea Pen.  It would probably be best if the list of current users was generated automatically with a small bit of PHP though, rather than you having to update a post by hand.

it's all stored in the vb db so yeah, I could easily generate a custom page for this. I've already done something similar on another site I help manage here;

This is a custom page I wrote and it's being displayed using the cmps which we have but have not rolled out yet, and the list is administered via the user section of the admincp.

A similar page can easily be created for the various groups we have. We just need to finish the cmps and get it online!

not much, just some polish and a bit of information.

However I'm going to be maxed out for the next four to six weeks at work as our product launch is three weeks away so I'm not going to have much free time to spend sorting stuff.

Still, it'll give the others time to finish the remaining pages on the cmps for publication :p

No problem bud thanks for the help.

If you just give us a print out of Bravo members and alpha ones too if it's not a problem we can do it manually in the short term and then once you've got a bit of time the lists should be clean so they can just be uploaded.
