I seem to recall that in older version of CS, one could adjust the walking speed.

Can that be done in source does anyone know? Where would the command be?

Thanks

So your old CS hacks don't work on CS:S? :narnar:

You can adjust movement speed but it's done at the server level.  It wouldn't make it very fair if the T's could get to the bombsites before the CT's could get out of spawn though

No problem.

I remember years ago when playing her and at Network42 or maybe UK:TMF that you could adjust the speed you walked at. Still a lot lot less than running but it was like a slightly fast walk than the one we have now.

It was some command like cl_walkspeed 100

Anyway, you would only set it up to something like 100 as anything over that and you started to make the running noises. Anyone else remember that?

Wasn't a cheat though

tapping the forward key when run toggle is on would mean you move faster than a walk but slower than a run. The advantage with this though is that you were as silent as walking so sneaking up on people fast was good.

This was in old skool cs though so not sure if source still does the same.
