I've cleaned up the Ladder database ready for use.  The only team there, is Team one, which is my account needed to do the ladder admin stuff and it can be changed to whatever team I end up in.  I'll add the finalised rules as soon as they are done.

Rules look good, this is gonne be a lot of fun :D

Just wondering whether we need to put some sort of 'booking' system on Baldric. I imagine, in the early stages at least, there's going to be a lot of activity?

Perhaps we should have a running order started or summat?

Not until you have a team organised :)

The availability website could be used to manage who is using the server when, as long as the team captains are setup (if they're not they could be added).

We could have a draw to see who starts where in the ladder and then I think we should just put all the teams in and see how it works out .

Dont whe make sort off list off the teams?

Blunt

Apologies for my low profile of late, but apart from being a little preoccupied with RL, I don't know the first thing about Ladders.

Be glad to help out if you want to throw me a task:)

Well there is 3 servers we have access too, and i doubt we get 6 teams playing at one time.

I don't think we can use Boomer really. MH may be a possibility though if needed.

You're all over planning, first come first served. We can suggest evenings for play but if team a and team b agree and get an admin for another night, what's to stop them?

Nothing really BUT the good thing with having two specific days is that everyone knows it is ladder day. This way it becomes much easier to plan real matches as well once we start playing in ED.

I agree, we need some guidelines but matches could be played any night if the teams/admin are available.

Lets find out how many teams we get before we worry about servers and being able to fit in all the matches.  I think we'll be fine with Baldric though.

I've checked the updates to your post Pen and it's looking good.

We'll need a new forum for the dMw Ladder (in the top level under Dead Men Teams or as a subforum in the tournament section?)  and then lets get it posted and see what the response is like.

If anyone gets a team entry, just add it to the "dMw Ladder Entries" post in the CS Admin section with the team name (if they have one) and list the players. Once we accept the team it can be placed in the open dMw Ladder forum and the captain sent the signup details for the website.

It would be good to get the announcement out today so that people can work on the teams over the weekend.
