There is something happening regularly just now that is really doing my head in! It is the use of any name other than the one you are known by when on Boomer. i can accept it on MH as it is all community people but on Boomer it makes the job of being admin a flaming nightmare. Thoughts? Comments?

Aye its a pain, ppl should use one name for CSS for playing on our servers. Specialy if they use both another name and still fancy wearing the dMw tags. Exceptions could be made for admin training though :narnar:

I agree that smurfing into games into Boomer is not really on unless there's a specific reason for it (admin mainly).

On MH smurfing is fine imho.

Smurfing isn't the only problem. Last night it came to a head and I asked the people on Boomer to change their game names to their registered names. I did explain that it was hard enough being an admin without trying to decide who was a member and who wasn't.

There should be at least a rule that the smurf should declare their name to the admin.

I usually check playerlist when a new 1 joins, but lately it doesn't show who is on friends; I often alt/tab to HLSW to see their aliases.

I detest all this farting about with names. You are -=[dMw]=-JoeSmith end of story. All this -=[dMw]=-JoeSmithwithahangover etc. etc. does my head in as well. One ought to go on our servers, either of them, with the dMw name one has been accepted into dMw with. :angry:

Same for me, i always play by the same name, allthough i might add [No Sound] if i am playing w/o. Some ppl just go a bit overboard though :sideways:
