Boomer Maps

We've given it a few weeks and I don't think the custom maps are working on Boomer. The people that join do seem to be of a better standard but it's harder to get a game going as not as many people are joining. What do you guys think about putting some more of the standard maps back and removing some customs? office and Italy would be obvious choices to start with...

We always have Meathook to go to if we want to play customs.

Sounds good Whitey...it's a shame it wont work but losing folks on the server aint very good.

agree, it's been hard to get a game going on Boomer lately.

I was wondering if it was the new maps, although the fast download seems to be working really well, maybe it's just the unfamiliarity of the new/custom maps?

I agree, not that i been on much, but i been looking at the numbers for a few nites and theres deff less then normla ppl on.

let's try it and see.

We'll soon see if it's the custom maps turning people off.

Better to have a full server of normal maps than an empty one of customs

I agree the custom maps didn't work as we hoped even though we had the fast download. It was worth the effort though.

I have a suggestion, can we skip all the shite standard maps on Boomer and just have a short rotation? Here is what I would vote for

Office
Dust2
Inferno
Aztec
Italy
Train
Piranesi

I think that would be worth a try, it'll hopefully get people on the server before we move to Meathook. That way the small rotation shouldn't get too boring for the regulars.
