:crying: Last night on my home from work I was a little bored in a traffic jam on a road appropriatly named the Parkway (sheffield) when I found myself turning on the radio and listening to Radio four.....

the sad part was that i was agreeing with most of it and really enjoying it. I have also noticed I am listening to more clasical music as well.

I'm sure it wasnt always like this and as i am still old enough to remember my teenage years (im only 25 FGS). Is this the start of me getting old or is this what old fart type cars do to people?

please help i want my youth back!
Are you going to come quietly, or do I have to use earplugs?

I write down everything I want to remember. That way, instead of spending a lot of time trying to remember what it is I wrote down, I spend the time looking for the paper I wrote it down on.

lmao, i started doing the same thing at about 25, now 28 and I can tell you it will only get worse..

where am I again?

I'd say it's more a case of turning into an adult and moving away from being a young pup, generally speaking of course :)

I've listened to Radio Four for quite a while when I listen to the radio (which isn't that often), it's not a bad station, wouldn't say it makes you old. I mean I'm 20, I still play with fire and ride down the stairs in cardboard boxes when the moment takes me (last month). You're only old when you stop all the things like that which are fun and take up the crossword.

As Doorman's sig used to say:

You grow old because you stop playing!

I didnt even remember to type the worst bit mind you at 02:45 in the morning its prob not related.

After getting off the parkway and getting on the motorway i had a clear run on the outside and middle lanes and yet i found myself doing 55MPH and being over taken by a lorry

Oh and you're not getting old Ghoul, you're just coming to your senses. Getting old is when you go 'oof!' when you sit down and 'argg!' when you get up.

Only joking buddy, but I had to, you know what it's like  I find myself listening to BBC 3 counties! which is not much better tbh, as long as you don't have a old mans cap on the rear parcel shelf and driving with your slippers on, then you'll be fine ;)

As for knee's I have and artificial one  hence getting rid of the alfa  (6 speed manual against a 5 speed auto and rush hour traffic not so bad when on shifts but a promo and a move to days ment the alfa had to go :crying:)
I was the youngest person at the time to get one at 16 (12 guys were bored and decided it was my time to get beat up)

So yes i go arrggh and oof quite alot although i know thats not age that the winter comming and i have my own personal freezer for a knee (want to know what an artificial knee feels like in the cold? put a penny or other denomination of metal money into the freezer over night and then next morning selotape it to either a knee or elbow or a bit of skin close to the bone thats how it feels i pity the OAP's with replacement hips...
