RULES:
The MeatHook Survivor Series will consist of 4 teams of 8 people.
The first part of the tournament will consist of each team playing the other 3 teams in a 'round robin' style.
Each match will be CO Rules, 3 min rounds, 20 min max per side, FFon and fully non-PCS (otherwise the normal ED match rules & settings will apply).  We suggest you understand what CO (Charge Only) Rules mean before the Tournament otherwise you may struggle!
The below war schedule will dictate who goes first as CT for each match (i.e. no knife round except for final round).
Points are awarded based upon the number of CO rounds won.  After the first three matches the total number of CO rounds won will be calculated.
The top two scores will then play in the Final, the remaining teams will compete in the 3rd Place play-off.
In the event of two teams being tied the head to head match score will decide the winner.
If this does not decide the winner then the top individual frag scorers from each team as CT will be compared.  The best CT frag score decides the winner.
If still tied the second best frag scorers are compared and so on.  Failing that you'll have one round on deaglemap to see who is the last man standing

- Each Squad MUST post take screenshots at the end of each half in case of a tie.
- CO scores MUST be posted in the Results Topic that will be opened for each squad on the day of the tournament.
- The Total Points for each Squad must be posted in the Topic Header so that all can see quickly who has scored what.
- A separate thread will be opened for Survivor Series gossip and strutting.

sheepy

6th july u numpty
CO = charge only

this means that ONLY the attacking team scores points! ie the T's on a DE map and the CT's on a CS map. basically play as usual, it only effects SL's etc who have to sort out scores.

For those of us who can't see the very big 'Announcement' posting inthis forum that gives the date and time, Sheepy has the correct date.  FWIW the matches start at 2.00pm.

Please remember to download and install de_winternuke if you do not yet have it!

It's nuke but with snow on the florr, not exactly difficult tbh, it's a piece of piss to defend.

sheepy

is there any diffrence between nuke and winternuke apart from the snow.
and if there is then can we have it in hte rotation as a temp map in order to get used to it?

Yes there is a small difference. Nothing much though

theres enough to make it play quite differently though. A couple of extra entrances and inter-connects between routes. And theres places where you can start seeing through the skybox. A runthrough of "places you cannot go" might be good ;) The roofs and stuff are clipped badly so you can often get round/past the clipping onto them here and there. Its a map that could use a makeover

ive just had a run through of it, and from initial impressions this is a very good map. although i do think that we do need to have some practice on it.

Quoteis there a prize for winning?

You do not need to know if there is anyways. Focus on getting an appointment with a hairdresser.
