Dr Sadako

I think we should focus on a set of maps that we play for matches. I have been on ED an checked the matches we played the last 10 months to see what maps we play (and win or lose on).

Map and matches won/times played
Aztec.....5/23
Cbble.....1/3
Dust.......1/5
Dust2.....1/8
Inferno...1/3
Survivor.1/1 :D
Train......2/5

I think that we should focus on 4 or 5 maps imo. My suggestion is that we try and book matches on the following maps only:

Dust2
Inferno
Survivor
Train

I have left Aztec out intentionally as we have problems on this map, mostly as T. Don't say "we only need practice" because we have had more practices on this map than any other. I'd say that 80-90% of the practices of all have been on aztec.

What do you think?

Certainly there are more opportunities for using good team tactics on the four maps you list Mats.

Since our policy is not to select a team based on strength, it would be logical to concentrate on the tactical maps.

I find Aztec as T needs almost a whole team of first time killers, i.e. one chance and kill or it is easy to defend and get money up to AWP. In saying that, many teams base their success of how well they play as CT so doing improving that apect of our game might be an option.

Dust is a real "pros" map, and we are far to slow off the mark generally to win on dust on a regular basis.

We certainly get to show our teamplay better in dust2, train, inferno and it was nice SLing survivor a few weeks ago.

I have made challenges for the most of July on ED now. I have focused on the maps above.
