Ok, so water cooling is a little.... extreme.... but you could still get an AMD system for at least 100 quid less than a P4 system, plus it would probably out perform it.

Note: As you will have noticed, the public thread has a larger amount listed as the target.  This is because the original 'shopping list' included a rack mounted server case (reasons given in the public thread).  It was decided that including the case may make the initial goal seem so high that many -=[dMw]=- members may not contribute at all, so we dropped it from the list with the aim of getting it at a later date.  However, seeing as we have done so well, so quickly, the server case has been put back on the shopping list in the hope that non-dMw forum members can contribute for it.
