Hmmm... this is new. Glasses designed to reduce eye strain and those annoying tension head aches after a long day or night of gaming. Do they work? Well so far it seems that the new Game-Eyez are launched with a new starting promotion.

Here's a short list of the these Game-Eyez do!

Time to get serious and put on your Game-eyeZ!

Control Cortisol, Enhance Performance

Although cortisol is essential during stress, elevated levels of this hormone can lower mental and physical performance

Cortisol is produced during moments of anxiety in competitive situations such as gaming. In addition, visible light exposure at night elevates cortisol production.

Elevated cortisol levels compromise hand-eye coordination, performance, and mental task processing. Gaming for multiple hours during the night causes the body to be in a state of prolonged cortisol elevation, stealing the gamer’s edge by making the body and mind slower.

Game-eyeZ prevent elevated cortisol production, sharpen contrast and decrease eye strain to keep gamers focused and performing better for longer, giving you a competitive advantage.

Pros so far: They seem awesome and so far scientific facts found on: Game-Eyez Official Site shows that this is not a gimmick. If they do work, they are worth a try, who knows? More gaming hours. Couple these glasses with a few bottles of Bawls and you've got it going hard!

Cons so far: However they come at a hefty price it seems... even with the first time "promotional" offers. Depending on the model selected, prices range from: $99.00 to $165.00, ouch? Yes maybe. However when it comes to eye health and gaming they may be worth such a price.

T-Bag

Ha, I can't begin to think of the amount of stick I'd get if I bought some of these. Buying glasses to play computer games sounds very nerdy. If they do reduce eye strain at night it's got to be a good thing, but I find playing with ambient light seems quite effective, and cost a fraction of the price.
I'm going to wait and see if these catch on, if they do and the price drops I won't feel such a nerd investing.
