How in gods name does one get over 214748 gold together :blink: .

It is doable, I won't say it would be easy, but it is most defintely doable.  For example during the recent christmas/new year raid break (10 days) Dajo managed to increase his gold reserves by 2,900g simply through daily quests and not having to pay raiding repair bills etc.  So if he was actually working at it then  the goal is achievable - and there are much faster ways of making gold than daily quests.

With 2900g per 10 days it'll still take 2.5 years. Sure there are other ways to earn gold even faster, but you should also consider that this guy already gathered a lot pre-TBC.
 
Camping the AH for 3 years ..., not really what I'd consider fun. If he'd sell all that gold on E-bay he'd be a millionair IRL though :narnar: .
