Good solid Eastwood movie. Not his best work but head and shoulders above most Cop/Serial Killer thrillers. Just released on DVD/VHS soone to rent

Great book - Michael Connolly if I remember correctly.  Incidentally he has done some other great cop thrillers (none others are films though as far as I'm aware)
