/w is fine, but you know as well as anyone that gchat provides you with more than just your private whispers.

I doubt it is an attempt to "confince ppl that Genesis is better then SoG " as Genesis would only recruit attuned & suitably geared people and (no offence) I think we can all agree that there isn't anything here to poach. Maybe I'm here to recruit for Sora?

SOG was never hard core raiding, it was raiding with a RL balance which is why we never got towards the leading edge of progress - 3 nights a week was too big a commitment for many and too little time invested to do really well. It was amazing what we managed in 3 nights per week though. Genesis was formed to be a hard core raiding guild and to avoid the problem of 40 people being squeezed into what was then the new 25 person raid instance. Looking around at other raid groups of the time you'd be hard pressed to see a guild where major change did not happen.

The real answer might be to ask him instead of speculating on hypotheticals. I have been waiting for him to come online over the last 24 hours but not yet caught up with him.

Spoke to Kregoron just now on MSN. He has no intention of causing trouble and seriously wants to just be in contact with friends again.

and as for JT, the moment i see him irl again, ime gonna kick his butt.. he still hasnt payed me for the hostel expenses that i payed for the 2006 SoG meet

Someone mentioned it above - an ex-raider returning to SOG - I call that someone like Lunares, returning on his main, Beset returning on his main, not someone who returns on lvl 16 alt. In all honestly when is Kreg likely to sit gchat on that toon to see people online who he knows?

Basically, I see it as boiling down to the old, 'Do we let alts of players in to enjoy the social side of the guild?'

No offense TL, but you put one HELL of a lot more effort into SOG pre-TBC than Kreg ever did. You earned your right to have an alt in the guild, in my eyes, through the hard work and dedication. Kregoron was never officer, never led raids, never demonstrated much interest in the guild activities beyond the social world where he was a popular member.

Teale is lvl 70 alt - not 16 either, and is online a lot.

Your alt and Kregoron's alt are not even close to being in the same category.

Hmm while i was reading this the urge to reply hit me.
I would like to know why ppl think old genesis members might go back to SOG. Cause atm it seems that ppl think SOG is just an guild for old genesis members to go to when they are tired of raiding or something else.
Yes i am 1 of those 2, i quitted raiding at genesis due to time problems and went back to SOG cause i have RL friends in here and i know quite a few ppl.
Does this give any of the members here problems with me? I would like to know that cause if thats so i will leave SOG, i do not want to cause more trouble then needed.
