Does any know of the web browser 'Avant'? http://www.avantbrowser.com/ i.e. any downsides to be aware of. It has a lot of very nice little features including a thing called Roboform which fills in forms automatically. It has a password storage/generator thing as well. Not only that, it's free and is not plagued with adverts.
Who uses a browser like this? Over to you..Smilodon.  :D

Why thankyou Doorman  :D

Avant isn't a browser as such, it's just a front end for Internet Explorer that adds a variation of the tabbed browsing Mozilla is so famous for as well as improved security controls and Google as a default search engine.

It's a pretty ggod attempt at ridding IE of some of it's more annoying traits without having to install a whole new browser.

As it's really IE still working underneath the bonnet it's still got the same basic flaws you find in IE.

I used it for a couple of weeks and there's nothing much wrong with it so download and have a bash matey  :D
