From ED: Change to the Counter-Strike rules.

There is soon going to be a change to the CS rules (as soon as Spike comes back off holidays). So, from now on, the Penalties section on the CS rules page which used to read...

"Penalties
Use of any of the practices outlawed above will be considered cheating, and will result in a 1-0 victory to the other team. Continued abuse of map bugs will result in removal from the ladder."

Will be changed to...

"Penalties
Use of any of the practices outlawed above will be considered cheating, and will be penalised at the relevant admin's discretion. Continued abuse of map bugs will result in removal from ladder."

This means that use of map bugs no longer results in a default win to the opposition, but may just result in the relevant round being reversed. This is to try and stop people match conflicting games that they lose heavily, but want to claim a default win.
