All I can say is what a combo!
The track with the car seem to be made for each other.

I slashed 17 seconds off my time tonight and I think there is more to speed to be squeezed out

Hey, congrats! Nice improcement.

Westhill is my favourite track. To me most cars feel best there. At least if it doesn't feel good there it probably won't feel anywhere else either.

Currently I have bit problems with the front left tyre. Without that it would be a quite pleasant ride actually. (without the heating...not without the front left tyre

)

Hi guys

Can I get someone please tell me where to find the "race S" sets?
I have looked on all the forums and setup pages but can't find them. I know I had them but probably deleted them long ago.:blush2:

Oh ya I was on the server last night and saw that you are getting 1:59-2:01 times! Are these with race S sets? If so NICE!!!!!

Race S is one of the inbuilt LFS default setups, provided when you install the app the first time around.

Hi Todd!

I suppose you want the RACE_S set because you would like to participate in our Sunday's night team racing? In that case, simply ask for it on the server and then someone will send it to you in-game.

As for the times, I suppose last night the guys used non RACE_S sets, as it was not team race night (which is Sunday), but as I was not there, I can't be sure. But as I remember, I did low 1:59s with RACE_S on last Sunday. For comparison, my pb is 1:58.24 if I remember correctly, with a different set which suits me better than RACE_S.

Edit: hm, a bit too much "as"s, but oh well...

Pretty enjoyable race, not much going on around me though. Had some fun trying to get a pit box at pitstop . Very unfortunate for Deetz and Romus to get DC'ed like that

Another good thursday nights race.Finished in a personal best position,but only because Detez & Romus had some very bad luck with connections:sad:Still a very enjoyable combo:yahoo:

Quali showed again that Romus can be very fast*, so I better watch out for this guy.

Deetz delivered a solid performance again, with me and him being close as usual.

The race. It was sad and a bit boring, sad because of the disconnections, and boring because of the same reason. While Romus and Deetz were right behind me, I had to really keep pushing, but once they were removed by the evil gods of teh internets the race became a bit pointless.

However, our eternal enemy, time, of course is always there to challange you. So I tried to keep pushing, but I didn't manage to achieve really good times, I almost thought that I would not have a new pb at all (I think I did a new pb in every long race, maybe but a few), but in the end I did it, although It was only a 0.04 sec improvement, so yeah... I'm not really satisfied with this race. Except that I HAVE WON! :woot2: j/k

:doh: I do a lot of bragging now, don't I?

Ok, end of report.

*just for the record, I let him to take pole intentionally, because this way I had the inside line, and could take the lead easily in T1. Yeah, really. :eyebrow: :lmfao:

It really ends now.

Too bad that the race turned out to be so dissappoing for me as I like the track very much. The car was also ok, only the overheating tyre spoiled my race.

I had had problems with the front left tyre in 7 lappers so I tryed to start bit easier, but it didn't help at all. The tyre started to show red at lap 4! It remained that way all the way to pit stop or actually it gradually got worse. In the pit they changed both front tyres and then the same thing happened on the second half :sideways:

Some mid way I had some battling with Vobler and...someone else...was it CrazyR1? Anyway couldn't keep my position as the bloody thing didn't want to turn anymore into T1 and I went wide. Rest of the race was boring as hell. Only in the last 2-3 laps I had some racing when I tryed to chase 1-2 drivers ahead of me, but the tyre made especially the second last corner very hard. My lap times were also lot slower than earlier so I couldn't even entertain myself trying to do a new pb.

Sorry for Romus and Deetz for their discos. That's heck of annoying :sad:

Also sorry for the mayhem in the 1st start. It seems my wall clock was 1-2 mins late :doh: DQF me if you want...can't spoil my race much more.

I ran a soft setup and planned to take it easy, hoping others would fall off and to some extent this happened. Lameduck and me have similar times but are quick and slow at different parts of the track to each other so I could catch him at my fast bits but couldn't pass, then he would get away from me at his fast bits, 40 mins in I was getting tired (busy@work) and fell off a few times so lost sight of Bob. In the last laps I was pressured by Aquilifer but kept him behind me to the finish.
