CS servers

Ok lets test this thing............
occasionally in the early evening I sometimes find myself at a loose end and wanting to have a game of CS.

I dont like CS PUBLIC SERVERS very much these days but since playing on the MH I prefer servers were the team game is played or least somewhere that I wont get botted to death.

The question is this..........

Can anyone recomend any servers that would suit until the MH starts to fill.
I know all about sitting in the MH thanx and it aint much fun on your own.
So please dont mention that.
Recomendations anyone ?...........You know I,ll be on the Hook as soon as someonelse dips their toe in .

It would be nice to get a bunch of servers posted here as recomended by -=[dMw]=-

I also have the same problem as u waiting for people to join....... but buckle under the need to kill end end up on a public :cry: then wish i never had :?

I used to play here a fair bit. Everytime I played there was an active Admin, who kept things nicely in order.

Although not PCS the play was mainly goal orientated and frag monkey's were suitably chastised.

it might not suit you for serious team-based cs, but if you're waiting for people to show up on the dmw server then its good for a quick game.

it runs a plugin where u get new abilities the more kills u get, and u can buy various beardy rpg items with cash

there was the SlE server I found you and oldie on the other week .......which was good fun for an hour or so , good bunch of lads as well ......but I didn't take down the addy :oops:

might be one to keep in mind as a back-up !!

I tend to find that custom maps servers have better groups of players. Probably due to the hard task of downloading and learning new maps :roll:

Yeah VGK is good fun , Tracer bullets and alot of blood [when your on low hp u bleed eheh].And low lag + good registration i found.

Thanx for the input fellas.
TBH Warcraft servers are not for me........dunna like it u see.
I might give ODB a whirl cos we played them twice recently and they seemed a good bunch.
As for CIGS........well I allways get a good reception there and they dont tolerate much crap especially when DUVEL is on the server. In fact of all the servers I have visisted lately this is one I would recomend.

custom map server is good (honest) fun
