:doh:  We cant even field a 10 man team now ..  To say im disapointed with sog at the moment is an understatement
 
I just get the feeling we are flogging a dead horse ... Sog is great fun as a friendly guld but truly sucks at raiding. Hanging about for 45 mins waiting for members to turn up, sums us up
 
Im about ready to throw in the towel and go for some place with people that want to raid. What we have here is a place where people hang out when there is nothing better to do
 
Im not pointing the finger at anyone im just saying what I see :boxing:

I'm getting that also that less and less ppl are raiding atm.
But it's been like this the last 3 years for this periode, it's exam time at school. And for myself i can only say that may is a month i got loads of stuff to do every year. guess the raiding will get stuffed again in a few weeks.

I feel the frustration, but also remember we're in peak exam period atm and all guilds are short right now (Sora waited 25 mins for a 25th to come online last night too).  The exam peak will alst another 6 weeks, then we have the summer holiday period to contend with.

Not sure what to do about things right now, I'll think about it.

The thing that got me was not the people that didnt sign up it was the ones that were online but didnt want to come or didnt show up
 
My thoughts
 
..Drop to 2 raids / week
..Call raids 24 hours before if we dont have enough sign up
..Kick people who sign up but never show without a reason :devil:

4th option.  Decide the guild is a social guild and stop pushing raiding.  It's an option, always to be re-assessed, but not one I would like for SOG.  

The options listed are all valid, but I think it might be worth seeking an alliance with another guild to raid more content together.  Having a weekly Gruul?magtheridon would increase interest in the short term.  Progressing through content after that will keep people interested.

At the moment I sense a lot of boredom in the game as to most people Sunwell Plateau is a place they will never go, so they are waiting for the expansion and wondering what on earth will happen between now and the end of the year when WotLK is launched.

I'll keep my eyes open during the day to see if I spot any likely candiates who might be interested in joining up for a weekly Gruul/Magtheridon run.

well word on the street is that in the expansion all 25 man instances will have a 10 man option too .... All may not be lost :P but its a long way off

pfft, just wait til I level my hunter. if the sun isn't shining and I'm on the boat I'll be there :)

of course if you need quick dps my mage is 60 already so could be boosted to 70 in short order. but not played a mage for a while so I'm 'rusty'

I like how todays raid turned out, so lets not throw in the towel just yet.

I for one havn't been online as much as i would want the last week due to some.. Unfortunate RL issues... But i hope to be online much more the next weeks. So you got my über DPS if needed :D
