I've been trying to "keep it up", however I've been hit by a common problem :

"Attempting to send results"
Error: Could not transmit unit 07 <completed May21> to work server.

Yeah, and this is my main PC which is left on pretty much 24/7 and F@H is on 80% of that too.

I've researched this problem on F@H forums and I've followed suggestions such as:

Start F@H in config more (adding the -configonly to shortcut) and unchecking 'Use Internet Explorer settings' - same result

Use the console versions - same result

I've tested that the work server can be connected to: by typing the IP address into a browser you should get an 'OK' page - I do get an OK page

I've found a couple of topics on the server in question (one is here) to which I have replied and will let you know the outcome - but for now it seems my main PC is out of action hence the slowdown on WU's

It was on a biggie too I think

My first thought - firewall? When you test that IP you do it via port 80 me thinks... and f@h uses other ports, I think?

T-Bag

Are you behind a firewall/proxy or on wireless etc...sounds like it's not spotting an internet connection.

I'll double check firewall/router settings, however, nothing has changed since I started folding.

Folding uses port 8080 which I can connect to through the browser ok as mentioned http://ipaddress:8080 returns a page with OK

Thanks though :D

Just thought I'd let you know that the problem has fixed itself.  Or rather the folding peeps have sorted the server that was 'stuck'.

PC back online folding again :narnar:
