Need FPS?

Might be already on here but here is a useful FPS guide an old friend showed me:

For anyone on a rubbish machine like me this guide should be really helpful.

Took 5 minutes to change my launch options like it says, and I noticed a big jump in FPS, even when I loaded up my own server and ran around dmw_astute I was getting 120 fps in the corridors and around 50-70 in the big sub room (big increase for some of us ). Changing to  dx8.1 instead of dx9 seems to be the big help with my old gfx card, not so sure about that though.

Havn't tried all the configs, though last week I did download "Casey's Config" to try and improve my FPS and all I did was manage to get my video settings to keep resetting themselves.

If anyone knows the "best" config, let me know :narnar:

Also changed to a small-solid-green crosshair instead of a large-green translucent crosshair because I read somewhere it's more accurate, might be bollox but I can definaly shoot with the galil better at long range with a small xhair.
