Like the bloke but now his main has gone and left the druid in SOG.
 
Is he using SOG to get Kara geared to then leave?
Signing up for raids with an alt everytime.
 
I put it to the floor.

Not realy wanting to gear up again
 
maybe initaite only
maybe only social, no raiding priority
maybe allowed to re apply in in 2 months
maybe just kick :P
 
just throwing it in the air. The blank rule of Gkick seems harsh but understandable

what you say here Jas is an ide for an officer meeting :)
 
and we did kick out lucian due to leaving with his pally, and untill we get up other rules i'll think it all should be the same.
And yeah, I realy like ice also, to bad to see him go :crying:

Let's apply some dMw to this.  We have Alpha & Bravo who are social, and then higher ranks which are 'mains'.  Do we want similar in SOG if it helps maintain activity?  In the past we have refused alts in this guild to avoid becoming a home where people return to 'after' raiding.  Is this soemthing we can continue or should continue?

He did apply on the forums for his druid even tho it didnt look so serious.
If the druid is his main char in SoG, I dont see the problem. We have more people like that. Take Evoxer. He has is pally in the guild as his main, but his priest is GM in his own guild. We still allow him in the guild and as a main in raids?

But if Bastila is Icehawk's alt and will be his alt in SoG, we cant make exceptions even how much we like the guy. Dont get me wrong, I REALLY like the guy, and am very sad and dissapointed that he left.
Also, I think I know him that well to say that he wouldnt join raids purely for the loot. He is really not that selfcentered. He joins for the fun of it and if he can help.

In this case i have to agree with my better half. Even tho the application didn't look serious, he was accepted into the guild. And as far as i can remember, that was somewhat accepted by those who were on TS when i suggested it as a "solution" to the alt-remaining-in-guild problem we had.

We can however enforce a stricter rule to the raid-invite, or as TL mentioned start classifying the members as social/raiding. I don't think classification like that would increase the activity in the guild.

I have no doubt that Ice is here for the fun, and as he has already said, he left for MC (i think) to raid, as their raid days fitted better into his schedule. Fair enough.

He can simply not join us in ZA++ as his gear isn't good enough. KZ badge runs? Sure, Ice is good fun to have in the raids. I believe his main in the guild is Bast which is not eligable for ZA++ raids. We could move the application back to the applications forum to check the waters?


Just my two cents on the matter...

I forgot about the Druid request access post. very clever and forward thinking. Not in a nasty way just hats off to ya icy :D
 
My oppinion now differs. Stays in the guild BUT if another char who's MAIN is available for a raid they get first choice.
 
If anyone has an issue with him staying and his main has left point them to his request to join.

Ooops forgot to mention. MC's raiding days are the same as ours. Wether that matters or not .......
