Found on LFS Forum:
Quote from: spanks;853755I tried the legend car using the default road setup around laguna. (you have to click load and select road as the baseline) That thing is a monster on the road course! It was a blast to drive. If you're feeling let down by the slower pace of the solstice, hop in the legend car and give it a spin...I guarantee it'll wake you up.

I tried it it is a good thing to try if you only have the Solstice. It shows iRacing from another view.

If you are going to try the Skip Barber on VIR Long this week. Here is a superb video of a good lap.
To do it you need to be a Rookie with SR=4.0+

(select watch in high quality below the video to see it better)

Made by Samuli Kumo (Crommi in LFS?)

Edit: I used 3 days to reach SR 4.0 By just backing out of trouble and not pushing.

Ok, And I think I know why. Just from a few days ago, there are now about 1000 more Rookies in the system. That is bound to make it harder to advance.

Good luck to all of you.

Here's another tip. Once you're over 3.0 don't bother with the advanced time trials! :sideways: This afternoon I did 24 clean laps with one 'off' at the latter end of the session and came out LOSING 5 points! :taz: Howerver, went and had a rookie race (Laguna Seca) and jumped back up to 371 :D

I posted a Skippy setup in the racing thread and  I just want to give a few driving tips too.

Brake before turn in.
The car is very tail happy if you brake or lift mid turn.

As you turn in add power gradually.
Power settles the rear end and gives more grip so floor it trough the turns.

I found a tip on the iRacing forum about calibrating the G25.
They said that when you are asked to turn the wheel 90 degrees just turn it  so that the total is 900 degrees. This will take up som "slack" in the G25.

And I think it works. It definetly feels tighter with a softer attach to it.

Try it and se if it works for your wheel!

Doorz and Vobz (and anyone who might know): do you know if on screen messages can be hidden? I mean those "Verner Blindheim has connected" or "gla"? I would prefer not to see those at all. Disinformation if you ask me. They distract me a bit.
