Whats your favourite map and why?

My favourite map has to be Crash because it is not to small and there are some nice places to provide "covering fire" (camp) lol :narnar: and of course it is a good map to play tactically :boxing:

Pipeline loads of interesting areas for close combat.

Yeap, agree with sadako, here pipeline stands out the most for me. Shame we only seem to have the Sabotage mode on it when i Would like to try out search and destroy / domination on it

The map just has so many more options than the others. The underground bit and really interesting buildings with walkways make for some good fights. Seems more thought out and well planned compared to other rubbish like that long corridor dusty one(forget the name of it).

pipeline even has trains for blunt!

edit- How could I forget Broadcast? really like that one best of the new ones

broadcast - are u serious! terrible map imo.

crash is a nice map.

overgrown i think thats what its called is a nice sneeky map, yet there are good sniper points.

Im going to get villafied for this but i think killhouse is a nice map.

it could b played SOOOO well in a team play. team deathmatch on this could be so cool with playing actually a team.

mp_village for me. its not a standard map but is huge and requires a good mix of roles (sniper, close up/house to house) to make it work

i like most of the maps.. all in moderation of course.. one-map-only servers annoy the heck out of me, a bit of variety is always good. mostly they have to be on the right game-type to be any good, for example, Shipment is really only good on a small server and TDM.. especially if everyone agrees to knives-only :boxing:
most of the maps released in the patch are totally rubbish though. i've got no idea why so many people love carentan (chinatown) so much.. it's awful. the only map i like from the new ones is Killhouse

Bloc is allright in my book. Especially when you sneak downstairs and get a whole squad in the back while they're defending in the houses.
 
Crash is also good, I loved to snipe on that map. Found several gitspots on that 1. When the winteredition came upon the first time I heard Santa dropping bombs I lol'd.
 
Pipeline is also really good. Loads of routes above and underneath ground but I think the spawnpoint for one side is a tad to far. A good defending team can really hold off the attacking team.

when i used to play cod2 carentan was one of the best maps in my opinion especially when you have two sides playing tatically but it does have its weak points for instance you can wipe out the opposite team just by nade spamming which is very annoying so having rules is always good

Showdown rocks because you can use all guns.Assault,SMG,Shotgun and Snipers. There are lot of camping places. If you attack,you can do slowly rushing and a fast rush with a fast planting:) So that's rocks:yahoo: And chinatown i like 2 because the creators saved it from cod2:)
