The 19 year old even got beaten after laying on the ground

After seeing this on the TV and such they turned themselves in.

What is wrong with these guys? First of all 6vs1, second, hitting someone laying on the ground...
These guys really p*ss me off...

We have a case in DK now with a 16 yr old who went nuts on a 40 year old (iirc). When the guy was down, he then started all over and after he was done - the guy on the floor was dying - he took pictures with his phone. The guy died. He was a happy dude nicknames "Elvis" for playing music and wearing sunglasses and he was known for a nice chat and a smile.

It was referred to as violence which resulted in death, and not murder. He got 4 years, which means he can be out in less than that. There are now facebook petitions for getting a stronger sentence and the justice department are looking into changing the rules.

Why would anyone feel such a rage? *** is causing it? Parental neglect? No discipline to build behaviour? Boredom? Loneliness? Anyhow, the aggressor will be out some day and after years in prison, from that age, prone to be several times worse... sigh...

btw duvel mate, I could not see your link -              Dit bericht is niet (meer) beschikbaar

It says the message is no longer availible, not suprising, since it was quite graphic and tbh, bloody shocking. I think parents need to raise thier kids more towards strickt guidelines, i mean the odd smack never hurt nobody.

I recon most of you would have gotten a good wack over the hindend if you really messed up. But everyone is into more suptler punishment, it just dont bloody work.....

Too right IMO. If I got out of hand as a kid, I got a smack on the bum. Sure, you could say it just taught me not to get caught, but it sure as hell worked a lot better than just telling me to stop doing it, or grounding me (especially when I lived miles from anywhere so was used to spending time alone, and there wasn't a room in the house not stacked with books I enjoyed reading). There's a world of diffence between a smack on the bum when you're really naughty and beating your kid round the face or whatever, but a lot of people are so paranoid about child abuse these days they're scared to touch their own kid (or they're of the more chavvy persuasion and they just don't care what said kid gets up to). Note I said 'A lot of', not 'all', before those on this forum with children (who I respect greatly. You do a job I certainly don't think i'd be ready for yet) slam into me ;)

My parents never beat me really bad as a kid, but I certainly got a good hiding when I misbehaved.  Nowadays I think there is a push to make parents teach their kids respect, and there are two problems with that:

1) It takes a lot more effort than teaching them fear, and as already said, a lot of parents just can't be bothered.

2) I don't think that young kids really understand respect anyway.

Now when I talk about 'fear' I don't mean to say that kids should be afraid of violence at home.  I'm talking about the kind of healthy fear of your parents that I and I'm sure many other people had growing up;  the fear of doing something bad because you were afraid of the consequences.

Isn't fear just respect on a more basic level?

I'm still missing my oldest brother in this thread.
He's got 2 little boys and sometimes they do get punished as for standing alone in the corner or hallway and when it's really bad a little smack on the b*ttocks.
It's the same way we got raised and look how we turned out. :flirty:

EDIT, think I was the worst of the brothers seeing that I'm the tallest :g:
