TF2 - Who's still playing?

I was thinking that it's a real shame that this game doesn't seem to get such recognition in dMw, especially considering it's very much a team game. I noticed the TF2 forum has disappeared, did CoD4 take its place? I was hoping we could bring back the server if there is a significant interest again. I know that i'm playing it a lot more nowadays and that it will be popular currently with the lack of vanilla servers and the new updates about to be released.

So, who is still playing it and if at all the server did come back, would you definitely play on it?

I play it still, and would play on dMw if it came out. I think now with new maps coming regularly and achievements the game should be played a lot more. Hopefully we get to play it a bit here.

The TF2 server was effectively unused by dMw people. Whitey turned it off (rightly so). A few people asked for it to come back so it was started up again on the premise that if it wasn't used it would be shutdown again.

Unfortunately, as with Boomer when Meathook is full, if it's empty, people tend to be afraid of being the lone person in a server. I believe we shouldn't be afraid to use Steam Friends more to ask whether people are willing to play.

I would certainly play on the server if there were a few other dMw'ers playing on it regualry. The reason I didn't play the first time the server started was because the night everyone played it interfered with RL stuffs.

Lol, me and Ally later on managed to do some interesting things, dual medic runs! Went quite well really, finally unlocked the ubersaw.

I'll be on again tonight, it's a shame Ghosty can't play at the moment and I think Sith plays but is on holiday currently.

I'll play tonight, haven't played in a while but I've loved TF since the first release for Quake 1.

I think the problem with getting people to play is that a lot of people mostly play some other game. I mostly play CS:S but I could certainly spare a couple of nights a week for TF2.

If someone finds a good server that we can play on and add to our favourates then we'll all have a place to gather. If that is consitently full then it shows a dMw one would be used. The problem is people say they'll play then a server is setup and nobody does and it gets taken down.
Good to see a decent number still play, I'm thinking we could have some fun games.
If we found a server where we can all play would it be possible to have the ip listed in the server details page to let everyone know where we gather?

If anyone does know a good standard server, I reckon it would be good to meet there, i've been on a few really decent ones. Have to agree with the last two comments.
