I write down everything I want to remember. That way, instead of spending a lot of time trying to remember what it is I wrote down, I spend the time looking for the paper I wrote it down on.

Not so much retrain as get a degree in what I was doing anyway, so I can get paid fairly. :flirty:

Aww, I'd love to come to the LAN, but I don't think I'm gonna have the money for it this time round.  I really want to get a laptop first so I have something portable to bring (at the moment my PC and monitor weigh as much as me). :blink:  Definitely gonna make a special effort next time though.

Obviously n00b cannot use that as an excuse :D Have you not heard about my monstrosities?  PC stands about two and a half feet high and same deep...

...my monitor is still a suntanning 18" CRT :D

so...think up another excuse!  Mine is money too I must admit :sad:

Well, the first few -=[dMw]=-LANs I went to I borrowed computer and monitor. Then I bought a Shuttle and it's easy to carry.
I now only allways need to lend a monitor.
