Go into Steam
Create a shortcut to Counterstrike on your desktop
add the following to the command line for the shortcut:

-d3d -w 1024 -full -console

and try running it from the shortcut.

How do you add a command line ? sorry if this is really obtuse but I am not that hot on this stuff, 1 other solution is remote access ?

Right click on your steam icon and select "Games".

Right click on "CS:Source" and select "properties"

Click on "Set launch options" and put the command line entries in there.

Remember to remove them once you have finished (or at least the ones you no longer want)

Dont think so but that is usually more a steam fix than a cs fix (certainly couldnt make things worse though)

Incorrect price blob version! Update your server!

You always get that - its a screw up in the coding that tries to enable the dynamic pricing function which we have turned off on our server. It shouldnt have any effect.
