WP 1 - Standards & Discipline

Nicely written Mike.

I have a few minor points to use or ignore as you wish:

1.     Admin Standards
     The standard of conduct that all Admins of the dMw community must adhere to are set out below. The standard's are.....  (remove the apostrophe or call it The standard is)... then it says intented not intended.


2.Kicks on Public Servers
  A warning should be given prior to issuing a kick, exceptions to this are players who join to disrupt play (eg. Multiple deliberate TK/TA, deliberate bad driving, etc). These players may be kicked without any additional warning. Any player kicked from the server MUST be given a reason for the kick should they return to the server.


Can we also add in that that admin should give the reason for the kick in-game regardless of whether the offender returns or not. This pre-empts the usual rounds of "What did he do wrong?"  and also helps educate other pubbies on the server as to what constitutes acceptable behaviour.


3.TCS Gaming Standards
The TCS Gaming Standards could perhaps be called Tactical Counterstrike (TCS) Gaming Standards as new people may not necessarily equate TCS with CS.


They also do not mention bunny-hopping.

The phrase 'Objective-based gameplay' is quite a good strap line for TCS as it's one of the core principles of what TCS is all about.



Finally, I think the CoD standards need to include a clause preventing the Section Head from using Last Stand. It's damned irritating!

Bunny hopping was disabled by a patch ages ago. Are you referring to "DA Bouncing"?

hehe yup. Some people still jump all over the place when confronted with an enemy, that's what I meant.

Only thing I noticed was under Forum Standards where I think it would be better to have the first line "illegal copies of any film or music media." changed to "illegal film, music or software media." to match the other lines of that bullet point table.  Otherwise it's looking good!
