Is your wheel positioned in front of you a little like a bus? (Lameduck read no further) I always felt it did. Then in the iRacing forum someone said in passing that they put something under their wheel to decrease the angle. i.e. making it more upright. I found a piece of wood about 1/4" thick and shoved it under the front of the base so that it tilted the front up. What a difference! Worth a fiddle with.

Yes, I actually clamp it down over the base of my monitor. That gives it the tilt you are describing.

BigFatCat

So by raising the front, you're shallowing the angle of elevation back toward horizontal?

INKeerect. :) Wheel is being tilted towards the vertical

@VobLer. Good thinking. I did try that but could bring myself to really screw the clamp down hard enough to prevent the wheel cutting loose. I wrapped a piece of non slip matting round my bit of wood snd it's SOLID! :)

You have to be careful what you say on these forums - always someone is finding different meaning behind them :D

This still confuses me. You *like* having the wheel virtually flat like a bus, as opposed to more upright like a car? o.0

What I have looked pictures the biggest difference to real life seems to be that the 'toy' wheels have a smaller diameter. Is this true? And if so doesn't that give a weird feeling?
