Apologies for not being online last 2 days.  I had electricians at y house on Tuesday and having spent most of the day with my PC and NAS box turned off whilst they cycled the power to figure out and fix my heating, they gave me the all clear to power up at 4pm - I did and then they promptly tripped an RCD by accident.  Net result was my PC's raid10 array was hosed.  That'll teach me to use a UPS (one ordered and due for delivery tomorrow morning), but in the mean time I have had to reinstall things.  Fortunately I had a backup complete on Monday morning, so I only lost a day of stuff, but it's still a pain having to reinstall Windows and the raid/image software to then watch for 6 hours whilst an image restores itself to the array.

I know we're gathering toons already, but before it is too late or too troublesome to change, do we have any other thoughts on name to avoid a duplication of dMr? Oldie quite liked Dead Men Wraiding, but then that's possibly an even bigger clash with dMw itself.  I know we have already spoent some time discussing alternatives and seeing what could be registered as a guild name, but I just want to make sure we have covered all the possibilities before we end up committed to one particular route.  So, if you have any other suggestions please post them here for discussion.

Dead Men Warcrafting was the original guild name Smite registered, but it was felt to be a bit too much of a mouthful.
Dead Men Raiding is what is currently registered.

If I may. Nothing wrong with Dead Men Raiding as long as you initialise it as DMR not dMr (we were there first :D ) Everybody happy, nez pas?

You can have Dead men Walking (guild name) and Dead Men Raiding (forum section name).

CSS is 'Dead Men Walking'
CoD4 is 'Dead Men Walking'
Live for Speed *could* have been 'Dead Men Walking' with the forum section name being 'Dead Men Racing'

'Dead Men Walking' is who we are. The games we play are varied and may or may not carry a different tag/badge.

When we started a CoD4 section - we didn't insist it was called 'Dead Men Codding' so don't get too hung up on the name or the tag.

the only discussion is really over guild name as we cant have "dead men walking" or "deadmen walking" the game wont let us take them
