Leave/Spec for cash

I have installed a new plugin on Boomer that keeps track of your score and money. If you join spec or even rejoin the server during the same map, your score and cash will be restored when you rejoin a team.

I'm just curious however, how long it takes currently for newcomers to the server to download all our plugins, etc? I know that as soon as I see a server with a load of downloads I cancel immediately, unless of course it's a server belonging to a friend.

Many of us go spec when we need to pop to the loo or get a beer so we don't lose anything, but the ones who do it for dosh? Great!

It takes no time at all. The only things that aren't purely server-side are the no-entry decals used to mark boundaries. Nothing else needs to be downloaded.

As n00b pointed out, most of the stuff, including this plugin are server side and require no extra downloads. The only things I know of that require client downloads are...the No Entry Signs, Admin Skins and a few sound files.

And IIRC when once downloaded they are stored locally, right? I.e. after one visit you will not have to re-download identical stuff?
