Please post anything here that you think needs to be sorted in order to get DMR up off the ground and running forward properly for WotLK.

- Council to be appointed
-Agree personnel & strucutre for DMR (could we use something similar to the dMw structure for member ranks perhaps?)
- Agree any transition arrangement for any SOG --> DMR transfers
- Possibly set up a roadmap/timetable for the raid element of the guild (or should the guild be aimed at 10 man or 25 man raiding, or at any raiding at all?)
- AOB

Please add the things you wan tot see sorted or changed prior to WotLK launch so that we can properly roll this out.  Time is running out so we need to get a move on!

TL.

- announcement on the unofficial realm forums to be posted (complete 28/10/08)
- sort and change the SOG references in the menu on left side of forums (mostly complete 28/10/08)
- TS details need amending to show DMR name (complete 28/10/08)
- Guild bank system: if SOG system is adopted then the notes and posts need to be copied across and updated (complete 28/10/08)
Forum needs sorting to move SOG to Archive, edit menu links and text (largely completed 23/10/08)
Create new DMR forum sections, include what sections we can to the public side to add value. (complete 23/10/08)
Agree how much of the DMR forums should be public and which bits will need to be retained as private (officers, TS details etc anything else?)
Change SOG GMOTD advising to read announcement re DMR (I will leave a toon with SOG to retain name etc). (completed 23/10/08)
- ranks & structure to be agreed (completed by Sheepy)

Updated.  Some of the remaining things might be superfluous, but others might need some thought.   Who is Council, who has which roles, targets, timescales etc.

For info, this is the Elysium post:

Raiding Schedule in Wrath of the Lich King

The plan is to start 10 man raiding as soon as we have enough people at level 80 to get a balanced run. These 10 man raids will be a bit more adhoc due to it being hard to predict how many people will be level 80 and how many runs a week people would like to Naxx 10. They will however be held on the normal raiding days (Thurs/Fri/Sun/Tues). As soon as we can get 2 groups going we will.

25 Man raiding will start 4 weeks after release (Thursday 11th December) but we will keep Fridays raid as the 10 man raiding until January.

Thursday 11th December 25 Man Naxx
Friday 12th Decemeber 10 Man Naxx
Sunday 14th Decemeber 25 Man Naxx
Tuesday 16th December 25 Man Naxx

Thursday 18th December 25 Man Naxx
Friday 19th December 10 Man Naxx
Sunday 21st Decemeber 25 Man Naxx
Tuesday 23rd Decemeber: Xmas Break (10 Man if enough interest)

Thursday 25th December: Get a fecking life and don't log wow ;-)
Friday 26th December: See above ;-)
Sunday 28th December: If enough people then a 10 man
Tuesday 30th December: If enough people then a 10 man

Thursday 1st January: If enough people then a 10 man
Friday 2nd January: If enough people then a 10 man
Sunday 4nd January: If enough people then a 10 man
Tuesday 6th January: If enough people then a 10 man

Thursday 8th January: From this point on its back to 4 nights a week 25 man raiding. 10 man will be held ad hoc on non raiding days.

Raid start and end times
The plan is to move some of the start and end times a little earlier. For 10 man runs this is more flexible and there is a possibility for 2 groups to start at different times (this may be quite adhoc) but for 25 man the expected times are:

Thursday 20:00 - 24:00 (Start 30 mins earlier)
Fridays 20:30 - 24:30 (May extend to 01:00 - Similiar as now)
Sunday 20:00 - 24:00 (Same as now)
Tuesday 20:30 - 23:30 (Finish 30 mins earlier, this may extend to 24:00 if we are close to a kill and people aren't too tired)

DKP

The DKP system is currently being reviewed with a few tweaks in mind to improve the system and will be announced in more detail later.

We do not plan to use DKP for 10 man runs but this may change if it seems appropriate (for example if we have something like ZA bear runs we may offer some form of "bear points" to allow people who do more bear runs to win the bear). We will be using the same style of DKP system but with a few tweaks
- DKP for the month will be shared amoungst people based on CP for an entire month (currently the DKP is shared on a weekly basis)
- We will be offering items as half price if a person already has a piece of kit in a slot that is the same item level or higher. Rings and trinkets are exempt from this as people equip 2 (and they are cheap anyway). If you are bidding for half price side grades you must say so when whispering the ML. People asking to pay full price will get priority as the item is an upgrade rather than a side grade
- Weapon prices will be reduced (relative to armour costs) but overall prices will go up as the iLvl of items goes up (meaning we both earn and spend more). In general the gap between costs of items will be reduced.

A more detailed post on the exact workings of the dkp will follow later.
