YouTube in German

I havn't come across this problem before........when I open Youtube in Chrome, it goes to the German homepage (//www.de.youtube.com), yet when I open in IE7 its the English version, explain please?

Just a guess, but maybe you have a cookie for chrome which logs you in, and for some reason your youtube settings have the german one as the default?
