Who are you? Where are you from? How old are you? What kind of work do you do?
My name is Jens, I’m a 29 years old guy from Denmark. I’m a grade school teacher with focus on science for children.
 
What's your situation at home like?
I’m living with my girlfriend through 4-something years. We havent spawned, so it’s just her and me milling about the house.

What kind of internet connection do you have?
20Mbit broadband connection, installed on a plywood board on the attic.

What are the core specs of your computer?
NVIDIA geforce 7600 GT, AMD Athlon 64 processor 3000+, 2K RAM, with a LEGO Darth Vader on top of the monitor (does not affect frame-rate to my knowledge)

How long have you been playing computer ames and what kind?
I’ve been playing computergames since the 386 was the hot commodity. Major lovestories of mine are the X-Com series, UFO-series, the Civilization-series, Total War-series. I’m not much for RTS games altho i enjoy DOTA. Im a sucker for anything that gives you levels and allows you to develop your avatar in some way. Absolutely LOVED Mass Effect, too bad it only plays really well a few times. And what is up with roleplaying games not making it worthwhile to be evil? Sure you can be evil, but you will miss out if you are. I have high hopes for Fable 2 in that regard. And Fallout 3. So many games to play...
I have played Everquest, Warhammer Online and Anarchy Online.

What kind of raiding experience do you have?
I played Everquest for many many years, very hardcore raiding 3 years (active raiding from the Kunark expansion and up untill just before finishing Anguish, Gates of Discord expansion)

In WOW I’ve been raiding MC, Zul Gurub, BWL AQ40, pretty seriously, and done some raiding in TBC, finishing Karazan, Grull, killed bosses in  TK and SSC and wiped on Maggy a few nights with the guild.


What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?
I’ve been in Lemmings of the Light, Original and An Unknown Entity.
I left Lemmings of the light, a social-familystyle guild because I was looking for people interested in raiding.
I left Original because the raiding enviorment was for people able to devote more time to raiding than I was.
I left An Unknown Entity after a long time of joyfull raiding with good success to retire my char and finish Bachelors degree. Reactivated later on, but thats a different story.

Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in in case we need to contact you?
I’m most likely to be found on Karmaz or Caldrim if not on Zamrak.

What are your plans for the game?
I am hoping to enjoy the upcomming expansion in a steady pace, not ruining all my toys at once. I do not expect to grind super-fast through the levels. However, as I expect to take several characters to level 80 one after the other I expect to make good but not record leveling time. And I deffinately want to see some raiding!


In what way would you like others to know you? Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.
Im a cheerfull, chatty bloke that enjoy the company of fellow gamers. I enjoy mischevious fun and I love making good jokes. Instance runs very often end in quite a few good laughs. I have tremendeous respect for other peoples time (and my own heh), and I take care not to waste it. I like to think that I live up to my responsabilities and I expect the same from people around me. I dont like failing and wiping, and I come prepared.

I enjoy the lore, the sociailisation and the excitement of beating content in cooperation with people i care about.

Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state.
Economy ruined by gold inflation. Gold should be the means to do instances and playing the game, not the reason to do so. Flying mounts ect costing exorbitant ammounts of money.

Why did you decide to play this class?
When I saw the dwarven hunter in the cinematic trailer I just had to make a hunter. I enjoyed it so much i stuck with him.

What do you think your class' role is in raid content?
DPS, DPSbuffer, low maintainence support.

Comment on your build. Why did you choose it? What do you think of other builds of your class? Why didn't you choose one of those? (important question)
Beastmastery used to be THE DPS build for most raidingtargets without cripling you for PVE. Its still good DPS and awesome for PVE. Going heafty for the Beastmastery tree adds alot of power AND character to your pet, which I happen to like. Beastmastery adds some survivability while adding some groupbuffs, making for a low maintainence, durable output DPS class.

I am not terribly interested in PVP appart from loving to play AVs, and that I play some pvp to get gearupgrades.
I think the other viable builds are solid, and there are numerous ways of making a solid PVE/raiding hunter. Marksmanship holds great potental and I really like the new MM-tree. Going deep in the Survival tree is also very tempting

What do you look for in a guild?
Social, mature people with something to say other than rofl and kkthxbbl.
People to do interesting content with, while haveing nice conversation.
Moderately succesfull raiding

''Dead Men Raiding'' - What comes to mind when you see that guild name?
Hordes of the living dead comming to take the brains of the living. Lovely!

There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us?
The What We Want statement on your homepage sounds very much like something I would like to be a part of.

Have you read our 'what we look for' and 'philosophy' posts? What do you think of them?
I sure have, I hope to find just what your statement aims for.

Annoying questions

A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?
If its the zillionth time I will properly take it up with an officer. If not I’ll properly let it fly. If its an attack on me or mine I will properly ask the person to refrain from such attacks.
