I wont me making this LAN as I have loads of stuff that month where I allready need my days off for (a m8s wedding and some other stuff).
I was looking into it as there's some people I haven't met yet and would like to meet.

I won't be at this LAN guys its my anniversary so I will be spending the weekend with my girlfriend.

I should be there in October all being well.

I am hoping to attend the LAN in October if i am allowed. i have never attended any lan before and was a little concerned from reading the thread for aprils that "shuttle or laptop then your ok" part, does that mean i cant bring my pc? sorry if this sounds dumb, im a noob in this area, its just my pc and monitor wouldnt be much of a problem for me, i just dont know what the "baggage rules" are.

again sorry to be a "noob" in this area, can someone explain?

You'd be most welcome.

That's advice for International travellers. The only thing we'd rather you didn't bring to the LAN is your speakers :flirty: .

Most people bring their desktops and their big monitors. Only a few people have CRT's now but we've had many a LAN with the big old 22" CRT's cloggin' up the place.

Basically you just need to unplug your home set up and set it up at the LAN +headset -speakers. Once that's done you need to head to the bar for some well deserved alcohol :thumbsup2:

I allways bring my Shuttle, it's a small PC which is good for bringing on a plane. Same counts for laptops.
