Staples Price error?

Well i was looking for a new chair, and came across this:

Being an impatient man, I didn't want to wait till it gets delivered, and I'd rather pick it up at a local store, so i phoned Staples up and asked whether they have any in stock and if they can match the same price as the internet (usually cheaper online due to overheads) and they said yes, we have some in stock @ £96! I questioned it as it's advertised for £145 + VAT (15%) on their site, and he said that on his system its £96.......

....So Off i popped to local staples store and saw the chair, @ £145 , i got an assistant and told him what they told me over the phone and quized him on the price, nope, still £145 sir...asked him to check for me, he came back, "sorry sir, it is £96, we have been very busy changing everything to 15% tax that checks have not been done on the prices, this looks like an error" so he said I can have it for that! and took the price down :yahoo:

So anyone looking for an office chair, phone staples and double check the price! I would do it pretty sharpish though!
