Following on from another thread... turns out, this was pretty easy.

This is a little tool which will remove, backup and restore custom weapon models/skins/sounds so they can be switched in and out easily.  It's pretty crude just now, but it seems to do the job.

Written in C# so will require .Net Framework to be installed (does anyone not have this by now?).

Download

- Run program.
- Select your cstrike folder.
- Select the folder you want to backup custom content to.
- Hit "Use Valve" to remove custom content from your cstrike install and store it in the backup folder.
- Hit "Use Custom" to move it back again.

Only works for weapons atm, not player models/skins.  Other than that, I think I got all the folders where custom weapon files are installed, but if I missed any (or if you have any other problems) let me know.

I may continue to improve this if/when I have time. :)

Edit: Almost forgot - as already mentioned, CSS loads models when the game loads so you can't use this tool once the game is already loaded (well you can but you won't like the results).
