Ok this has been bugging me now i know limpsy is a good bloke and all but im not very happy how he decided to go do 10 man raids with his mate and is using the excuse that someone else can gear up because we have lost our boomkin buff and also all the times hes won items someone else could of been gearing up in the raid instead who wudnt of done that,Also say the tanks or healers were to say the same thing we would be screwed with raiding .

If he wants to raid elsewhere then he should join them.  It is not on to get yourself locked out of DMR Naxx10 raids by raiding with someone else.  What happens if DMR needs an extra player unexpectedly.  How do we gear a 2nd 10 man group when we have 19?  One player missing hurts the guild a lot and it is very bad for morale as you get the "I got loot from boss X" when it might not be a boss who DMR have yet done.  He needs to play here or elsewhere imo.  Only excuse is if he cannot make the DMR raid nights, but then it would have to be made quite clear he is a social member only and even this is a dubious excuse.

From Limpsy's post in the "help us to help you" thread it would appear that he will no longer be raiding with us 10 man at all.:g:
But seems he will be around for 25 man !!

In or out i think TL is quite right you're either with your guildies or your not and it would appear he is not.

I suggest we speak to him and give him a simple choice and if that results in us having to get a new Boomkin....then so be it :ranting2:

I had a word with him last night .. If hes free and we are a man short he would be happy to join. I dont see anything usefull in removing him from the guild but a ranking set as social if he is not raiding

People will come and go for whatever reasons so we need to be flexible and get a work around. In time we will find the people that turn up every raid night and can be counted on.

I think the point being Jas that he would not be free at all if he is raiding elsewhere as he would be locked to another raid.  So the bottom line is he either leaves or becomes social as I mentioned in my above post.  Either way I'd say you need another boomkin.

yup we are all sayin the same thing ... if he cant raid then set to social and we fill his spot with a dps till a boomkin buff comes along

Right im up for bumping him up obviously now 25 mans might be starting to take place but the main reason he was set to social was he went off to help his mates do 10 mans and he said that was always his plan to do so he left us in the lurch. My question to u Jas is since he talks with u more than us :D  do u know the main reason limpsy has stopped doing 10 man naxx, Obsidian sanctum and Eye of Eternity with his mates is this gonna stay like that due to the fact hes in our guild and hes his main and if we need him he should be there ready to go?. Also the other month we had problems with mzltof wanting to raid with Eyes of Ra because he wasnt guarenteed a raid spot and he even contemplated leaving dmr which was sorted so we set the rotation thing in place but still i feel if limpsy hadnt buggered off raiding elsewhere in the first place we wudnt have had this problem, alts i havent got a problem with going 10 mans or 25 mans elsewhere but mains as far as im concerned should be guild priority or yeah fook off tbh because i dont like running people through naxx gearing them up just to have them turn round and raid elsewhere.

Run two Naxx10s each week whilst building numbers and go 25 asap.  That way the problem takes care of itself as the guild does both runs.

I think the problem we are having at the moment is poor attendance from people who do want to raid, we need to give them a new challange ie 25 mans

Then why not run a 25 and fill it with 'Friends of'?  It garners interest from within the guild and DMR takes priority on the raid spots.  This engenders membership interest and more enthusiam.  What are the numbers looking like?

Tanks?
Healers?
Ranged dps?
Melee dps?

Depending on the night chosen I might be able to help out on one toon or another and I am sure we can all find one or two people we would like to raid with. Some of those people might even be interested in guaranteeing their access to the raid by joining DMR, which is exactly how I ended up in SOG in the first place.

Ya spot on there TL ...Filling the last few spots with friends / known players is a definate possibility  

As for Limpsy all I know is when he signs up he will be there, on time and gives 100% we cant ask for much more :D
