I've linked the server to netKar Rank. A tool that records everyone's online lap times and puts you in a .....er...rank. Interesting to see if you're a hotshot or not. :) Dig around in here.

There does seem to be a problem somewhere, as one of the people racing last night said. My times from the session on the Newbury track are showing against Aviano on the ranking page. Just thought I'd let you know. As an aside, whats the next course? Then I can get some practice in! Is my addiction showing yet? :dribble:

It looks like I've found a bug. If you change the server config through the GUI and start the Rank tool the .ini file isn't changed. I have to edit the .ini file directly. It ought to be ok now. Addiction? Nah, you'll be alright although I must say you looked like you might OD last night.

I did get the "are you coming to bed, or is that thing going in the toilet" speech last night. Hey ho, she just doesn't understand......

:roflmao:

I've been playing it for over 2.5 years and i am totally addicted now there are more people online.  It just gets better and better the more time i spend with it.  With some additional server tools and a few more tracks i can see it keeping me amused for another 2.5 years with no problem at all :)

It may well be rough around the edges but the driving experience is unbeatable imo.  Once you get a half decent setup all the cars really feel fantastic to drive, better than iRacings cars in many respects.

It would be nice to have a regular evening where DMR, RSR and a few other guys that we all know race fair, get together and have some quality racing.  Lastplace can provide a server for this if your interested.

Whos actually bought a licence/thinking of buying a licence in DMR?  The RSR guys are all doing it. One by one they seem to have got sucked in :)

See you on the track guys!

(Whats your name in nKPro Itchy?)

I have had mine since summer 2006 i think. Just when the 102 hype was high. When 102 came I still didn't use it much. Mostly because I could not qualify to the GPC races. Endless pre qualifying for 15 spots in a race took most of the excitement out of it...
I have always had hopes for NKP, but when years go by and all you get is false promises my interest drop. Maybe this time I will use it. :)

I would be interested joining something similar to dMr's thursday nights.

BTW: My name is V Blindheim in nKp

I'm really looking forward to trying it out when I get back home from my vacation. So far I've only tried it offline, and the framerates are excellent (90+) Time will tell if it also gives me decent performance online too. :)

Originally I was plalnning to start my iRacing subscription in the new year, but if nKP runs decently online for me I'll definitely postpone it (indefinitely :flirty:).

Seany

I think I may get a License,  I am having a lot of fun with this.  I think it would be sweet if we got a day during the week dedicated to NKpro.  Makes a nice break from LFS,  that Spa track is excellent :)

On topic :D, cheers for the stats link Ron, very nice.

Succumbed and bought a licence this afternoon, and yeehaaah! Been scaring the proverbial out of myself at Spa and Monaco. I agree with Seany, it would be nice to have a dMr night and race with the usual suspects. As much as I love LFS I find the driving to be more believable in netKar, with things happening instinctively. It doesn't mean I'm any better, or quicker, but things make more sense to me.
Moose, I'm C Wilson, so now you know who to take care with when ur passing..... :lmfao:
Must go, need to go testing again :norty:
