That's a nice little Grobbulus vid. It's a different positioning tactic but I think it's a lot easier to see where you have to run to in the end. Basically what the tank does is run back as much as 2 cloudlenghts rather than just 1, so to say. What this does is give the injected people the opportunity to get inbetween 2 of them rather than having to go to the other side. I do think this particular group has alot more dps since they seem to get him down pretty quick (4 minutes and about 45 seconds I reckon). I kinda fear that's what we were missing near the end: the dps to down him before the frequency of injection becomes too much.

The trick for Grobb (apart from farting in the right place) is simply not to fall behind on the adds.  Prio dps on adds, then back to boss, it makes things a lot easier.  You can double space things, but that is more tricky to manage from a tank perspective and also means you move around the room at twice the pace, so if you get the spacing a little wrong you can end up back at the beginning pretty quick and the original farts still not despawned (although this would also mean low dps).  With single spacing and 'normal' fart positioning you should aim to kill him by the time he is at the back wall, ie half way around the room.

Think our best attempt had him at about 1.75 times around the room, at 20ish%. I think we're not just having a bit of an add problem but possibly losing out on dps time because people are running around a bit too much trying to get rid of the injection (or finding a safe place to fart, to use the proper terms )

tbh we also had the problem of people standing about finishing the cast of whatever spell or move they were doing even if they had just started to cast which doesnt help at all.

Part of what I was trying to say. Basically overall inefficient handling of the playerfarts ^^ Then again it was only the first night.
