Well I got around to installing F@H today, will post back to let you know what kind of output I'm getting (probably not very much as my gpu isn't supported ny the GPU client :().

However I just checked my logs and it seems that every WU so far has ended after 4% or so with a fatal error, and a message saying that if it continues to happen my computer may be unstable (it's rather old now so that could well be the case).  Would I be better not to bother folding if this continues?

Try lowering/raising the CPU usage?  Maybe the PC is struggling for some reason.

How old is your PC?  Mines five years old now and running the 'normal' client and it's ok with that.

Also you could try installing the console version as a service as there isn't any GUI which I do get problems with sometimes.

Would be good to have you folding whatever the WU you produce.  It took me six months to get to 15,000 because of my low output.

Now I've installed the gpu on my son's PC and I've hit 20,000 in a few days.

What am I saying?  I think it's a habit we must get into even if we know the output will be low.  You are still doing your bit to fight disease eh? :D
