Why can't we just use the voice comming that we use on boomer or MH?:blink:

Using Teamspeak allows you to have a chat before the match to arrange things, join the match server while still discussing tactics, sort out any issues people are having joining the match server, talk about the next rounds tactics before the round restarts, tell your team mates where you died (contentious but true)....

There are a lot of benefits but none that have a place on the TCS servers, only in matches where us using TS will make it a level playing field.

Well ill be the one to do so then, me and Kknd was discussing what we should be using and decided to get with TS, as every other team on ED probably does..
As whitey stated it can be used to say where you died after you actualyl died, which to some is cheating i know..
But as every other team on ED uses TS, i can assure you they will be using every chance they get on getting an edge over you in a match..
Its not our way i know, but should we limit ourselves compared to other teams.

Yet again as whitey stated TS gives you the ability to actually arrange next rounds tactic before next round is actually started.

If anyone got any issues with what i wrote, please say so

Re the Teamspeak/Ventrilo discussion:

I know that some might think that it is not the dMw way because it might give an "unfair advantage".  If this is the only reason why we don't use it, then I say it will NOT give us an unfair advantage as Kreg has already mentioned every other team uses either of the two.

If however, we don't want to use TS/Ventrilo due to moral/ethical reasons, then we should not use it.

For me, I say we should use it.  The advantage gained on a properly set up server is minimal as blackout normally takes place after a couple of seconds.  On other servers you are allowed to spec your teammates and therefore the 'advantage' increases as you can help your teammates (perhaps you have better headset and can let your live teammate know where enemy is?)

Had to reinstall windows this weekend as my ageing pc is failing.  Downloading and reinstalling Steam and CSS etc this afternoon early evening.
