I was looking at my steam friends list just now, when I saw a name I didn't recognise. I clicked on "view aliases" and it turns out it is Alex, who I believe is Jabbs' lad.
I was saddened by what I saw.
You don't have to be a cryptologist to work out what his gaming names have meant to say.
I note that he is a member of the dMw steam group.
see screeny below

if that's too hard to read see here

Two choices I guess, we PM him or we PM Jabbs. Either way I'm not having anyone in the Steam group with that sort of crap in their name!

I don't know what they're meant to say and I am a cryptologist!

I have removed him from the dMw Steam Group and sent him a message to explain why.

EDIT: Just had a reply to say he didn't realise it could be read that way and just saw it on another server and thought it looked cool.... he's still removed.

Snokio

The fact he has done his own name backwards suggests he knows full well what he was doing and what it read :sideways:
 Bring on the randomness!
Apparently I actually exist! Or maybe it was the drink?

Oh and nice to see you're following the Scottish News Blunt :)

Aaaah! Now I get it. :sideways: "Didn't realise it could be read that way and just saw it on another server and thought it looked cool." My arse.

Me too - totally unacceptable.

Like Snokio says, he does his own name backwards too.

Well, Whitey's passed judgement so that's that. However if all admins would monitor him it's no bad thing. IIRC there was another instance not too long ago where we had to ask Jabbs to step in and give him a proverbial cuff  'round the ear.

Nice spot Blunt.

Definitely don't want this this sort of thing being associated with the community.

Completely unbelievable excuse, might be worth a quick search of the public server logs to make sure that the name hasn't been openly used on there in the past, just for interests sake.

Sad to say I was a little quicker at noticing the "cryptic" meanings in his quite large collection of aliases now you've brought it to our attention.

It's because I'm a crossword addict.
I see anagrams and stuff all over the place; the other day I was putting a new house sign up for a fairly regular customer. it said "Hyatts Hill", henceforth known as "Sh1tty Hall".

but seriously, if I was Jabbs I would want to know about this so that I could deal with the situation in my own way and keep an eye out in future.

Doesn't the first line says he's a dealer?

I think that's a good point.

TeaLeaf

Aye, I would PM Jabbs with the screenshot and leave it with him.
