Pings?

Last night I thought all the pings were higher that normal.  Mine certainly was but I have just changed my isp to bt about two weeks ago and while my pings to the box are lower and more importantly more stable Was there a problem last night with the server that anyone knows of or was it just my imagination.  It took me a good few rounds to get used to playing with a ping of 100!!! If it does not come down I will need to speak to Mr BT :g:

The pings were rubbish last night but a quick traceroute showed me there were issues all the way to the server. Guess it was a bit of a "net problem"

Yeah sorry about that too.  I seemed to get a lot of lucky shots last night.  Some I even thought how did that hit.  I have never played (normally) with a ping that high apart form US servers but I imagine the game will have a built in compensation to sort out pings.

Ah cheers BB you posted while I was typing my message!!  I'll leave hasstleing bt for a bit then.  I take you are on virgin?  I think I have read a post somewhere but i could be talking **** Living in Edinburgh I would have thought being a few miles further north your pings would be worse but it appears I get routed to edinburgh before going south figure that!!!
