The missile base map is dreadful with lots of players imo. Could just be me playing it wrong of course, but it was not just not enjoyable.

As others have said there was a couple of muppets on tonight but overall there's a good batch of regular pubbies which is great.

Still kinda wish it more vc's were used and there was more teamwork but I guess we're on a hiding to nothing with that.

To be fair Pen, we played Overgrown twice and downpour and the comms were excellent. we even had pubbies joining in with team messages when they didn't have comms.
As I said during the missile base map, It plays better with fewer people; me and 3 others had a whale of a time a couple of weeks ago, it played really well.
Also, I think you need to adopt different strategies for this 1, you're a sneaky so'n'so, I'm surprised you didn't sort a tactic out.
A great evenings gaming, a shame I go downhill as the evening goes on...I wonder why:blink:
Anyway, after my 1st Rnd I had nothing to prove...1 of my best ever saves.:woot2:

Admins, If you get a map in rotation that doesn't suite the number of players on the server just bump it to the next one. Don't play it just because it's next up.

Yeah Overgrown was fun. We normally get some great close games on that map and it's one of my faves for sure.

I guess the missile base one reminds me too much of a gun-game / speedball type map :flirty:

Problem with the missle map last night - was we where getting spawn raped - I found this slightly bemusing as we weren't playing 'Domination'.

We where getting hit as we spawned, hit as we tried to get out of the hangers, oppo players hiding in our base ready to shoot us as we walked past and then getting our spawns air striked - thankfully I lost connection but to be honest I was a few mins from jacking it at that point anyway. All the above is acceptable for Domination imo but not for anything else.

I also wouldn't have thought it was particularly challenging for the opposition - finally (IMO) it wasn't a particularly good advert for any pubbies that where playing on either side last night - come fight the dMw way and get raped like you do on any other server

Domination is generaly  like that and I always try to hold people back from final one if we already have 2.  Just tell them to dig in.  But as much as you try some people wont listen.  

People also ask why and I am more than happy to explain why.
