gg's, thanks to BB for stepping in and helping with the numbers.

Teams:

A: Sulky, LionHeart, Snokio, BB

B: Duvel, Blunt, Lexander, Sparko

Tactics and coms:

We did start the first map (downpour) with 3 vs 3, at which stage we decided not to have Team captains, but rather get a feel for match conditions.

I think our coms were good in terms of identifying the enemy, and keeping in touch of our movements, our tactics on the other hand was a little patchy in holding and attacking certain positions which is where we need a team captain really.

Results:

First map: Downpour
Team A = 740, Team B = 1140
Second Map : Backlot
Team A = 820, Team B = 1140 (again!)

Hopefully we can try for a 5 vs 5 next time !

Our side just used our comms as much as we could giving through last seen positions of you guys.
As we knew you would be spawning all closeby eachother we needed to know when one of you guys tryed to flank.
For the rest, sorry about trying to knife all 3 off you, had to give it a shot, or should I say, knife.

Nice wallspamming which worked allright in the last bit of the match, we decided to attack from your left by then as Sulky was still shooting the wall.

thought tonight's training was very well played by both teams, i was just annoyed i had to leave early :ranting2: , our team were a bit quiet at first on coms but when the game started to come alive we seemed to liven up a little. the two maps we played were personally my favourate and i really enjoyed the battle that both teams had within the house (to the right of the barn) in downpour, had to be really careful no to TK in there though. it was the first time i had played properly on the match server and tbh i am impressed at the work that had gone into it, so well done guys, hopefully i can start playing in proper matches now

my XAC crashed and sent an error report to Bill Gates near the end.
I'm wondering what would/should be the procedure if this happens in a real ED match?
You got to start XAC before the game, so do you quit and restart XAC then CoD4, or just report it and carry on?

Odd that mine crashed when I closed the game, it has never done that before. Any ideas anyone ?

XAC was only annoying when it twice went back to windows for me.

Oh, another thing I thought off of the match, we knew you guys were defening one spot and as we had the advantage we decided to not go after you and just wait you out.

Last night was very good practice but at least the last real match I played was a lot different than our practice. The match was 5vs5 so more players means more hectic game. And they were really pushing it, it was basically spawn and die. Maybe kill someone before you die. So should we put effort to defending tactics or attacking ones ?
How was the first ED ladder match ? At least we lost the second one trying to defend and getting bad spawns all over the map, thats why they had the control.

From what i can remember from the 1st match was spawn die spawn die.

we did start to get to grips with it and imho we had our best spell in the match defending a position. so maybe we should concentrate on that side for now
