Quote from: kregoron;268133nah patch had nothing to do with it :) we were just good ;) nah kidding..
tho zombie damage seemed a little bit higher? or did we just play on higher difficulty?

on patch update, the smoker seems a lot better now, its not so bliping hard to hit with the tongue, much better now, and still balanced :D

Agreed, the only thing that i found a bit anoying was the fact that i sometimes tongued a survivor I wasn't aiming for, due to the bigger cone/hitbox.

kregoron

well ye can be a little harder to hit the correct target, i kept trying to tongue people yday, but for some reason i kept licking whitey

Quote from: Whitey;268034I'm not sure if it's because of the update but the L4D servers are not showing up as active in HLSW but you can still connect to them and play.

I guess its the update. They have disappeared from the Steam Sidebar Gadget in Vista as well.

Valve, good and coding -> mutually exclusive words!

The March 12th update should fix the server browser issues.
#!/usr/bin/admin
use warnings;
use strict;

I've updated the servers and they now show in HLSW.

I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

Indeed. Strange.

I don't see anything strange with them. Looks fine.

I've got this problem.
In hlsw I can see that there's 4/8 on the server, but it's not showing me any details apart from yesterdays.
When I look at Kreg on steam, it shows he's playing in a game on Coldstore, but the server info isn't there.

Same here. It's obviously still broken as far as HLSW is concerned.

Their updates are messing with the Steam Vista Sidebar Gadget too.

LogMod 0.8.0.4 fixes HLDS Bug *UPDATE*
                                                      (st) As many of you may have noticed, all Half-Life game servers
are responding and displaying incorrect or outdated server status and server rules information since the Steam update of November 2008.

After some discussion around this problem in our forums the error could be clearly located in the Half-Life dedicated server query protocol, which was caused by Valve when updating the query protocol in the update last November.

After notifying Valve about the issue and waiting for a fix for months now, we have implemented a workaround in our LogMod Plugin for the time being while still waiting for a proper bug fix on by Valve.
So with the new LogMod Version 0.8.0.4
this problem is now fixed and all server information and rules are being displayed correct and in time again. This version is available for x86 Linux systems at the moment only, x64 and windows versions will follow the next days.

Additionally we like to highlight the advanced features of LogMod again, which makes it possible for HLSW users to check user profiles on different gaming community sites like
ESL or the Steamcommunity even without having Rcon access to a game server.

** UPDATE **
Now the windows version of logmod avaible.

Sorry but no, we don't use Logmod.
