Gents,

I mentioned it elsewhere and then failed wholeheartedly to follow up.

When I go to give an award (Ranger is overdue in this case) it works up until the submit then gives a null page.

Any ideas?

I've just checked your permissions and they look ok.

I've also just tried giving myself the L4d one and it works for me from the mod panel

I notice that Ranger has been given the award thrice:

OK it looks like you've given it to a ranger not R@ng3R

You need to make sure that you get the username perfect.

I eas able to give him the award by copying and pasting R@ng3R into the username box.

Try doing that and we'll see if that works.

edit: yes that's the problem. We have another member called Ranger and he's got the award thrice (http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/member.php?u=666). I've removed it from Ranger and I'll let you re-issue it to R@ng3R so the congratulatory pm comes from you.

lol, thanks Pen. I did cut and paste, even did the member list piece...still get the null page when I award though...odd.

Weirdy one.

He's got the badge now though so I guess it worked its way through.

shouldn't get a null page. can you screengrab the next time you get this and record the date and time then post it up. I can then check the server logs to see if anything is amiss.

No-one else has reported this so maybe a browser issue.

As for the name, you can use userid if it's easier. Just hover over their name to get their userid.

hover over someone's name (like yours on the left and nothing happens?)
