Do your bit!

I think that people who enjoy a drink down the pub with friends or a nice bottle of wine are going to be hammered by tax because a there are idiots about that can not hold their water!! and its an easy way to generate cash from people who work and deserve a pint for an already greedy goverment.:ranting2:

Most people in the UK enjoy a good drink especially at the weekend and pubs are a very important part of our socialising and culture.

"I'll meet you in the pub for a couple after work" the number of times I have said that hmmm

Proper pubs all over the country are closing on a daily basis and it needs to stop! pretty soon all that will be left are a handful of overpriced gastro pubs servicing tiny portions of food with a choice of expensive wines or a pint Carling to go with it :ranting2:

Starting on the 6th April its Cask Ale week, my local will have a new guest ale each night of the week which I will be popping along to sample mmmmm

Not to get bladdered but for the taste and appriciation of a great beer, will I be a menace? a drain on resources?

No! I'll just be a bloke enjoying a nice pint....

Down with the beer tax which will kill our pub culture.
